The last full day in Canadia ... well, at least for a while.Bob again collects us from our motel and we straightaway meet-up with Les at his local golf club. Next stop - the Niagara Falls.
115 miles (185 km) later, at around 6:00pm, we get there. I can't believe that after all the dreaming and planning during the last 18 months; I'm finally here, at the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
More than 168,000 cubic metres (6 million cubic feet) of water go over the crestline every minute ...
.. and then plunges 52 metres (170 feet) into ...
.. the Maid of the Mist Pool.
Truly, absolutely bloody awesome!
Is there a better way to end the daylight hours, than a fine dinner overlooking the most powerful waterfall in North America?
Looking at Les from this profile, he reminds me of a famous movie star. I damned if I can remember which one though ...??Thaks again Les, for your time, company and guidance.

Just wanted to let you know I'm back in good old blighty and checking up on your progress on a semi-regular basis - sounds like you're having a great time!
I'd recommend the tour of Washington DC by the way, check out the Spy Museum while you're there, I went on a work trip once and took a spy tour around the city, pretty cool !!
Anyway, glad to see and hear that all's well in your neck of the woods, Niagara Falls looks pretty awesome; strange, when I look at the pictures it makes me want to go over them in a barrel or something - must be the adrenaline junkie in me!
Canada's never really appealed to me before but by the look of your photos it looks like a pretty cool place to go.
Anyway, have a safe journey and no doubt I'll write again sometime soon.
All well in Newquay by the way, you'll be glad to hear the summer still hasn't started !!
